So I am still alive. That’s really good. Day 1 and 2 of the anti-bloat start is going really well. I’m actually impressed that I’m continuing with it. I realize now, how much I snack. It’s really awful actually. I mean every couple of hours, I had an urgency to find something to munch on!! I usually resisted. I’ve been eating almonds as a snack. That seems to suppress my snacking urge and keep me on track.
There is a recipe for Sassy Water in this book. And when I first saw the ingredients, I thought. NO WAY! But actually, it has become my go to drink. I drink with every meal and I will fill up my 24oz water bottle 3 times in 1 day. That’s how amazing it is.
Sassy Water
1 pitcher cold water
1 medium cucumber, peeled
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 tbsp ginger
Add all ingredients. Let sit over night to infuse flavors.
I took the ginger out of mine. I really cant stand that taste. blegh!
This morning, I started my 30 day shred. I forgot how hard it is. I really did. I thought that I could do it the whole time without stopping. HA! In my wildest dreams. Jillian gets me every time!
The best part about all this was yesterday, I was sitting on the couch and Mike comes up behind me and told me how proud he was of me and gave me a big kiss! That made everything worth it!
