We <3 Baseball!

DSCF9541Mike scored 2 tickets to see the Mariners yesterday! We called Grandpa Mike and asked him to take care of Olivia so we could go play.. We had a blast! We ate stale hot dogs, drank beer and yelled at the umpire. The game? WE WON! I’ve been to 3 Mariner’s games and every time, they have pulled through in the last inning and kicked some butt!   DSCF9530   DSCF9539 DSCF9540  This mitt is my favorite.

working graveyard = no bloggity blog blog.

Graveyard is finally over! I survived! I learned all kinds of new things aboutstore. It was fun, and it made the night go by waaay faster. Then I brought out the guns, and threw freight with the boys! Let’s just say, it made me want to talk about football and drink a cold beer.

Dwight: “Hey Jim, Did you get tickets?”

Jim: “To what?”

Dwight: “The gun show” ::kisses biceps::

Along with working late, Mike got a bug :( Poor baby was really sick. I was being a good wife and rub his head, got him water and took his temp. Olivia didn’t quite get why Daddy couldn’t play with her and was really excited when Daddy showed signs of feeling better.

Look at the way she looks at him. He is her entire world.

Olivia loves sitting in our computer chair. She would probably just sit still for an hour if we let her.. hey, that sounds like an a great idea?? :) Anyways, she wanted to sit in a chair like Daddy and she started typing on the keyboard and using the mouse! It was adorable! I opened up a word document and let her type. She mostly liked pushing the space bar, but all the same. Maybe I have a future blogger on my hands? :)

DSCF9525 DSCF9526 This is what happens when I say “Olivia, look this way!”

 DSCF9478

It happens when Dad says it too. I was hoping the cheesy stage wouldn’t come till later. Oh well, at least she doesn’t mind her photos taken..

I worked hard getting my ribbon organized. I know, I have such a tough life! I found 2 amazing ribbon organizers from Martha Stewart at Wal-Mart, I had to have them. They were 3 bucks each! I love clearance! I threw them in the cart along with a bone folder, and 2 – 6 packs of Martha ribbon. The boxes are okay. I really like that I can put them in there and see them, but pulling them is kind of a pain the butt. I find it easier to pull and hold the ribbon from the inside?? I don’t think that makes sense. But either way, my ribbon looks so pretty! I even have room for the my white ribbon, I just got tired and lazy and wanted to start another project.

5 Things I want to do while camping next weekend:

  1. Have fun. Go to the shops and look around at all the junk,Say Hi to Jake, visit the tide pools and lighthouses and maybe even ride a horse on the beach!
  2. Play Chubby Bunny.
  3. Drink Mommy juice and enjoy laughing and talking by the fire
  4. Stay warm and dry. We are camping at Long Beach WA. Every once in a while you get a pretty day. But that doesn’t happen very often. I’m looking forward to at least one day of pretty weather and sunshine. PS. I hate camping in the rain. It ruins my whole life. I’m grumpy and not a very big box of fun.
  5. Relax. Take a deep breath and enjoy the ocean air.

I’m super looking forward to going to the beach. My Momma volunteered to keep Olivia for the weekend. Which means it’s just adults!?!? Crazy. It is going to be A LOT of fun. I’m really really excited. Susan and I are going to prep and get a pedicure and our eyebrows done. I still have a lot of planning and lists to make. I don’t want to forget anything, I don’t want my Mom to have to buy anything for Olivia. Did I mention that I’m excited… ?

Thanks Kat! Go Over to her blog and join in.. it’s fun! :)

It’s been super hot here and the only thing that sounds like fun is cooling off in the lake. Olivia loved it until she slipped and fell in face first. Let me tell you, I was biting my nails the WHOLE time she was in the water! :( I get so nervous that something is going to happen to my sweet girl, even if her Daddy is right next to her! PS. I use to rock this bathing suit in 1990. Mom found it in her keep‘um box.

This is what I do when Olivia is napping. I love soaking up the sun and yes, I was on Twitter

And this is what we did last night! We didn’t end up at the fireworks at the park but we saw them just as good from the front lawn, and it wasn’t nearly as loud of miss Olivia’s ears. We enjoyed super yummy root beer floats and Olivia got to stay up waaaaaay past her bedtime. The sunset was gorgeous and Olivia was in a great mood. We only had 1 timeout for Olivia, because she wasn’t listening and walking behind our chairs. She ALREADY plays deer in the headlights when you are talking to her, oh lord! We set up the tent and slept outside. Olivia did great! She only woke up once at 3 and I just had to put her back on her bed. And then Daddy had to get us all more blankies because it was FREEZING! :) Thanks Dad! :) :)

my favorite

tshirt-pola01

If you asked me what I felt most sexy and comfy in.. it’s this shirt. Mike wore this shirt all the time when we first started dating. I made him put it in the rag pile since it had a hole in it.  But secretly, I just wanted to wear it. for him.

I’d be happy if my coffee pot didn’t turn off after an hour.

I’d be happy if clothes fit the way they are suppose too and I don’t have to pay double shipping to send things back.

I’ll be happy when my bathing gets here

I’d be happy if I could forget the conversation we all had about my uncle the night of my cousin’s graduation.

I’ll be happy when I can black out those thoughts again…

I’ll be happy when my mandatory grave yard shifts are over on Sunday.

I’d be happy if I was leaner, and tan.

I’d be happy if work didn’t try to screw me over. Really?! He has been there 2 weeks!? And he is so ANNOYING!

I’ll be happy when I rock my interview to move up and shove it anyone’s face who thinks I'm “immature and not responsible”

But..

I am happy because Momma sent my camera cord!!

I am happy because Olivia is growing up to be such a kind girl. She is so gentle and sweet to everyone. Anyone can babysit her and she will have a blast. She loves other babies and touches them gently and kisses their heads.. {can i get an “awww”}

livandkenzy

Olivia and her new BFF, Kenzy

I am happy because my husband and I have a really grounded relationship right now. I want to be near him, to touch him all the time. I’m trying my best, not to screw anything up.

I am happy because I found 2 cute dresses at AE. I at least know their clothes fit the way they are suppose too.. AND free shipping!

I am happy because I love to smile and laugh. I love to make everything fun and exciting. I refuse to be dull and boring. If that makes me immature, then I feel sorry for you. :)

I am happy because for the first time in 12 years, I saw my best friend from elementary school, and I felt like we haven’t been apart at all. It was the best feeling in the world. I miss her so much already. Love you Traci! :)

traci!!  tracilivandkenzy They are so gorgeous! Traci has the best smile! It’s contagious!

This has been a Mamakat workshop post! Thanks Kat!
