I am thankful

For this man, who constantly puts a smile on my face and butterflies in my tummy. Without him, I would be lost.

For this beautiful healthy girl who is sassy and fun just like her Momma and I thank God that he blessed me such a beautiful girl to take care.

I found this poem, and really enjoyed it.

I heard my Mom say as she scrubbed today,

"I'm thankful for brushes and brooms,

I'm glad to clean my cozy house

That's filled with cheerful rooms."

I heard my Mom say at the washing machine,

"I'm thankful for dirty clothes.

I'm glad that I have a healthy child

Who can play each day he grows."

I heard my Mom say at the sink tonight,

"I'm thankful for dirty dishes.

I'm glad we filled our plates with food

Instead of empty wishes.:

I heard Mom say in her prayers tonight,

"I'm thankful for problems today.

If life never got a little bit rough,

I might forget to pray."

Is it double spaced when you type it in LW or does it convert to double when you publish to Blogger?

My LW is single spaced and it used to let you change it from single to double but I don't see that option anymore.

Stopping by from Mama Kat's. That is a really nice poem..totally puts things in perspective in a season where they can get a little tweaked.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving (a little belatedly!).

In blogger there is a setting in "format posts" for spacing. Try that.

Oh and thanks for the birthday wishes!

What a great post! I love it when people are appreciative of the ones around them.
